Don’t Forget a First Aid Kit
March 8, 2008
One of the things that everyone loves to do when camping is play hard. That why we always remember to bring a first aid kit when we go camping.
If it’s not the kids or grandkids falling down and getting scraped up, it’s me taking a tumble on my bicycle when I’m out trail ridding. Someone is always coming up with a scrape, scratch, bug bite or sunburn that needs some sort of first aid.
We picked up this handy All Purpose & Outdoor first aid kit for around $15.00 and it has just about everything you would need.
Here are just some of the things in this kit:
- Bandaids of all shapes and sizes
- Antiseptic wipes
- Soap Towelettes
- Sting relief
- Alcohol cleansing pads
- Aspirin
- Ibuprofen
- Tape
- First aid cream
- Blistex
- Sun X with an SPF of 30
- Tweezers
- Scissors
- Safety pins
- Ice pack
- Wraps
- Emergency/Survival blanket
- A small travel aid kit that fits into your back pocket
And much more.
So be sure that you take along a first aid kit on your next camping trip.
