It’s About That Time Again

It’s about that time of year when the camping fever starts setting in and I want to start pulling out all of the camping gear and taking inventory and making sure that everything is working properly for this years camping season.
I usually start with the sleeping bags and then slowly work my way through the cooking utensils, pots and pans, cook stoves and even the tent that we seldom use anymore.
And before you know it I’m putting together a wish list of items that I want to pick up before the first camping trip of the year.
If you are fortunate enough to live in an area where you can go camping just about any time of the year, then I’m very jealous of you.
The next thing that I will start doing is making a check list of the things that we will need to pick up for our next camping trip.
To do this I use the camping checklists found on The-Ultimate-Camping-Experience.com. They have two check lists that you can use. This is a Camping Checklist that you just print out and mark things off as you go along. They also have an Online Camping Checklist where you can check off your items online and then print your list when you are done.
So what are you waiting for? There’s no time like now to start getting ready for your next camping trip.

Got something to say?

While I’m checking over my camping gear and I have the tent set up in the yard, I will re-spray the tent with a good water repellent which is manufactured for tents. The rain fly is done separately hanging from a clothes line in the back yard.
Make sure the tent and fly is completely dry and that the weatherman is not predicting rain on that day. You want your freshly sprayed tent to completely dry before it sees any moisture.
Always follow the manufactures’ direction when applying.
