My name is Mark Neustedt and that’s me on the left during a recent turkey hunting trip which is just another term we use for camping trip. :-)

I have been in love with the outdoors and camping for as long as I can remember. From the time my Dad first started taking us camping when I was around 3 there is nothing that I love doing more then getting out and going camping.

My best camping trip ever was back in 1982 when my kids were only 2 and 3 years old. I was just laid off from my job of 2 1/2 years and the job market wasn’t very strong at the time.

My wife and I decided that it was time for a vacation and we put everything we owned in storage (with the exception of our camping gear) and headed for the beautiful North Cascade mountains where we spent the next two months on the greatest camping trip ever.

I started this Blog in hopes of helping everyone experience their own greatest camping trip ever.
